CLINTON, Md. — A Washington, D.C. teenager has been arrested and charged as an adult in connection with the July shooting death of 17-year-old Camron Anthony Adams in Clinton, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD).
Shooting on Killarney Street
The incident occurred on July 20, 2025, around 11:20 a.m., when officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 6900 block of Killarney Street.
When police arrived, they found Adams inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A second adult male victim was also shot during the incident but sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Suspect Identified and Arrested
After an extensive investigation, detectives determined that the suspect — a 17-year-old male from Washington, D.C. — knew the victim prior to the shooting. The motive has not yet been publicly disclosed.
On August 5, 2025, the PGPD Fugitive Unit arrested the teen while he was in possession of a handgun. Following his arrest, prosecutors announced he would face charges as an adult.
Charges Filed
The suspect has been charged with second-degree murder and related offenses. He is currently being held at the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections on a no-bond status, meaning he will remain in custody as the case proceeds.
