🌿 Morning Wellness & Gardening (10 AM – 12 PM)

Start your day grounded—literally—with a refreshing Morning Yoga session by Grounded, designed to reconnect your body and spirit in the museum’s peaceful outdoor space. Following yoga, dive into a hands-on Urban Gardening Workshop exploring African American agricultural traditions.

What to Expect:

Learn about the historic role of root cellars and canning in Black communities
Get expert guidance on planting for fall and winter harvests
Tips for container gardening and multi-planting techniques
Understand how to store your produce through the colder months
Enjoy a live pickle-making demo
Take home a Root Vegetable Grow Bag (while supplies last)

🎶 Main Stage Performances Begin at 12 PM

The energy ramps up at noon as the main stage ignites with music, spoken word, and powerful performances celebrating Black culture and creativity. Hosted by BeMo Brown with non-stop vibes curated by DJ Miss HER, the lineup features:

DJ Set by Miss HER – Feel-good beats to kick things off
Spoken Word by Lemonade Dream – A teen poet bringing raw emotion and power
Pinky tha Rapper – High-energy rhymes and lyrical storytelling
Joi Carter & Band – Smooth, soulful tunes with a live band
Black Alley Band (Headliner) – A high-octane blend of go-go, funk, and rock to close the show
