Washington, D.C. — A group of suspects is on the run after carrying out a bold retail theft at a CVS Pharmacy in Southeast D.C. on Monday evening. Authorities are now turning to the public for help in identifying those responsible.
The incident unfolded around 5:11 p.m. on June 30 at the CVS located in the 500 block of 12th Street SE. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), several individuals entered the store and began stealing merchandise in full view of surveillance cameras. The group then fled the scene before law enforcement could arrive.
