Wappingers Falls woman arrested subsequent to crash investigation

PRESS RELEASE

Fishkill, New York – On July 11, 2015, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Victoria Guarino-Rivera, 63 years old, of Wappinger, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.

Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to a one-car collision on Firethorn Loop in the Town of Fishkill.  While Troopers interviewed the driver of the vehicle, identified as Guarino-Rivera, they observed clues that indicated she was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Guarino-Rivera was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated when an investigation revealed that she was convicted of DWI in 2013.

Guarino-Rivera was scheduled to appear before the Town of Fishkill Court on July 14, 2015.
