Greetings Art Lovers:Friday night, the Saugerties Studio Tour is kicking off with an opening at The Dutch Barn Art & Heritage Gallery, 119 Main St., Saugerties. See the work of over 35 studio tour artists hosted by the Saugerties Historical Society. While you are in Saugerties, head over to HeadSpace Gallery at 12 Market St. and see John Breiner’s exhibit of 10 years of paintings, drawings and prints documenting his wanderings.

 

This weekend it’s Beacon Second Saturday! Wander up and down Main Street in Beacon after taking in the Community Free Day offered by Dia:Beacon.

 

Powerhouse Theatre is in the midst of an exciting season – if you haven’t experienced any of these productions by all means check it out – don’t delay, they end on August 2!

 

Make it a point to visit Natalie Frankel’s art opening at Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center Theater Building this Saturday from 5-7 p.m. It’s a very special art opening for “A Young Artist in Bloom.”

 

We hope you will go on vacation with Arts Mid-Hudson during our Unexpected Path, Part II exhibit featuring a gallery exhibit and a month of travelogues, performances, and readings exploring the unexpected magic of travel. Save next Saturday, July 18th for the gallery opening and a special performance by Anna Mayta inspired by her travels through India, Zimbabwe Africa, Spain and Chile.

2015 DRAGON BOAT RACE AND FESTIVAL IN 
July 25, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
The dragons are coming to Poughkeepsie on the Hudson River. The Asian Cultural Festival will continue the excitement for the day featuring live music, events, arts and artisans, and food vendors as the dragon boat races along the river.
