Poughkeepsie…The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation into a hit-and-run crash which occurred on 6/2/15 at approximately 2:15 pm in the Town of Pleasant Valley.

The accident occurred on Drake Road approximately one mile west of Rossway Road in Pleasant Valley, when an eastbound minivan struck a westbound Honda Civic head-on. The minivan then left the scene and the operator/sole occupant of the Civic, Nicole Boyles (age 19 of Pleasant Valley), was transported to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The vehicle is described only as a dark red minivan that left the scene eastbound on Drake Road towards the Taconic State Parkway, and at this time there is no description on the driver. The vehicle should have front end damage and is possibly missing at least one headlamp.
