Ocala, Florida – Finney, Kenneth Earl, age 57, recently of Ocala, FL, having lived in both Mahopac and Holmes, NY, died May 26, 2015 in Ocala, FL.
Ken was born on February 19, 1958 in Mahopac, NY to Dorothy (Miller) Finney of Holmes, NY and the Late Ernest R. Finney. He graduated from Lakeland High School in 1977.
Ken was a mail courier for the Putnam County Savings Bank in Brewster, NY for 10 years having retired in 2010. Ken took great pride each year participating with the bank during the ‘Heart walk’ for the American Heart Association .
Through the years, Ken enjoyed the outdoors, whether spending time on his own or with family.
Besides his mother Dorothy Ken is survived by his two daughters, Brittany Sue Finney of Ocala, FL and Stephanie Rae Grey and her husband Ryan of Altamonte Springs, FL and his former wife Sue (Rosmus) Finney; his three brothers,
William Finney and his wife Donna of Shenorock, NY, Michael Finney and his wife Maria of Carmel, NY and Daniel Finney and his wife Gail of Holmes, NY. Also a grandson Caleb Richard Finney and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 1:00pm at 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY. Interment following at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson, NY. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
