Fishkill woman charged with drug possession following traffic stop

Wappinger, New York – On May 15, 2015, New York State Police from the Wappinger Barracks arrested Jennifer C. Voltz, 22 years old, of Fishkill, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Voltz was stopped by police on Old Hopewell Road for operating a vehicle while utilizing a cell phone. Following an investigation conducted by Troopers, Voltz was found to possess a small amount of crack cocaine.

Voltz was issued a traffic ticket and an appearance ticket directing her to appear before the Town of Wappinger Court on May 21, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
