State Police from the Dover Plains barracks arrest Connecticut fugitive

Dover Plains, N.Y. – On May 4, 2015, Troopers from the Dover Plains barracks stopped a vehicle being operated by Joseph G. Stanton of Connecticut, for a Vehicle & Traffic Law violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that Mr. Stanton was operating the vehicle without a valid driver’s license and was a fugitive, wanted by Danbury Police. Mr. Stanton was arrested, arraigned, and remanded to Dutchess County Jail while awaiting extradition to Connecticut.
