County’s 13 School Districts Unanimously Approve Dutchess BOCES Budget

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Boards of Education of the 13 Dutchess County school districts unanimously approved the 2023-24 budget for Dutchess BOCES at independent board meetings Tuesday. The vote approves an administrative budget of $6,449,000.

“We are pleased that our component districts have approved our administrative budget for the coming school year,” said District Superintendent Jason Schetelick. “We work very hard to provide the best educational experience for all students by closely collaborating with our component districts. We look forward to continuing to meet the needs of all Dutchess County students by providing programs and services tailored to each child.”

The Boards of Education also voted to fill the two vacancies on the Dutchess BOCES Board of Trustees. Elected were incumbents Michael Riehl and new member Anquinette Haynes. The terms begin July 1 and are effective through June 30, 2026.
