Obituary, Anna M. Bartolotti

Anna M. Bartolotti, 81, a longtime resident of Millbrook, NY, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.

Born on September 1, 1941 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Domenica (Longo) Junta. On November 26, 1961 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in the Bronx, she married Frank J. Bartolotti.

In addition to her loving husband, Anna is survived by her six children: Jeanette Mazzarella and her husband, Richard, of LaGrangeville, NY; JoAnn Dentry and her husband, Timothy, of Stockton Springs, ME; Francine Ferris and her husband, Paul, of San Francisco, CA; Minerva Rule and her husband, Sidney, II, of Millbrook, NY; and Anne Marie Rifenburgh of Worcester, NY; and Frank Bartolotti, Jr. of Millbrook, NY. She is survived her sister, Josephine Letezia of Glens Falls, NY, and her two brothers, Frank Junta of Mahopac, NY and Nicholas Junta of Yonkers, NY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Christina A. Mazzarella and her husband, Christopher Kirk; Danielle, Marco, and Michael Frankie; Sidney Rule III, Samantha Rule, and Katrina Rifenburgh.

Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by a brother, Louis Junta, and three sisters, Frances Consalvo, Mary Meleti, and Louise Cirillo.

Anna had a heart of gold and the tongue of a sailor. Everywhere she went she met a friend because she made you laugh. She was a Past President of the Town of Dover Lions Club and a member of the Dutchess County Lions Hearing Committee. She also served on the Dover Union Free School District Parent Teacher Association.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, and 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A prayer service will be offered at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
