Obituary, Foster Nathaniel Liming

Foster Nathaniel Liming, 91, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Putnam Hospital in Carmel, NY. Mr. Liming worked in construction and was a member of Laborers Union #1000 in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Born on February 6, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late John and Mary (Schiel) Liming. Mr. Liming proudly served in the US Army from 1952 -1954. On October 16, 1954 in Dover Plains, NY, he married Annette E. Brown who survives at home.

Mr. Liming was a member of the American Legion Post #1949 in Wingdale, NY and VFW Post #5444 in Dover Plains. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting.

In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Liming is survived by a daughter, Lori Chamberlain of Florida, and a sister, Berniece Drayton of Mt. Laurel, NJ. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Kelly Chamberlain of New York, NY. Besides his parents, Mr. Liming was predeceased by two brothers, Charles, and John Liming; two sisters, Louise and Mary Louise.
