DUTCHESS COUNTY COMPTROLLER SEEKS INPUT FROM COMMUNITY FOR 

UPCOMING “POPULAR ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT” 

For the first time in Dutchess County’s history, the Comptroller’s Office will be publishing a “Popular Annual Financial Report” (PAFR). In addition to providing residents with a digestible summary of the financial state of the County, this optional report will include various statistics, demographics, and government information. In anticipation of this report, the Comptroller’s Office is asking members of the community if they would be willing to provide photos they’ve taken in Dutchess County that could accompany the data. All photographers will be credited for their work within the published report, unless anonymity is requested.

 

Photos should be high-resolution and submitted no later than February 28th, 2023.

 

“I am excited to be creating the first ever PAFR report for Dutchess County,” said Comptroller Lois. “I look forward to seeing what everyone sends in and having the community be part of the finished product.”   

 

1-2 photos will be selected (and credited) per the following topics:

 

  • Tourism/Culture
  • Geography
  • Industry
  • Small Business
  • Education
  • History/Historic Tourism
  • Health Care
  • Agriculture/Agri-Tourism
  • Housing
  • Government
  • Transportation

Photo winners will receive an award certificate and recognition in all Comptroller news and press announcements.

Please submit your photos to comptroller@dutchessny.gov by Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
