Timothy Doolittle, a 23-year resident of Wingdale, NY passed away Monday, January 23, 2023, at Putnam Hospital Center, Carmel, NY; he was 65.
Son of Thomas and Patricia (Roehl) Doolittle and brother to Pamela Tarr, Bradley, and Brian, Tim was born in Hopkins, MN on March 18, 1957. He married Patricia Ryan on October 23, 1993 in Yorktown Heights, NY. He is survived by his wife and three sons: Sean, Steven, and Andrew and many nieces and nephews.
After moving around during his formative years, his family settled in Stamford, CT. Tim graduated from Rippowam High School in 1975, and he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
Tim was the proud owner of Wingdale Hardware in Wingdale, NY before his retirement in 2019. His passion was serving his local community and he cherished the friends he made along the way. When he wasn’t working in the hardware store, Tim loved gardening, golfing, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY Thursday, January 26th from 4-8 PM, with a service at the funeral home at 7:30 PM.
