Newburgh, New York – On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, the New York State Police Troop F Child Abuse Unit arrested Patrick Lynch, age 41, of Bethel, CT, following an indictment for Predatory Sexual Assault of a Child, a class A-II felony, by an Orange County Grand Jury.

The arrest was made in conjunction with Orange County Child Protective Services and Bethel Police Department in Connecticut after receiving a law enforcement tip in July of 2020.  Investigation determined Lynch engaged in sexual contact with a child less than eleven years old in the city of Newburgh.

Patrick Lynch was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Kim in the town of Goshen and remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail.
