Maryanne Anderson, 82, a long-time resident of Pawling, passed away at Putnam Hospital Center, Carmel, on Friday, December 30, 2022.
Born in Danbury, CT on March 21, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Susan (Mazza) Plevka.
Maryanne worked as a controller for the general contracting company Wm. A. Kelly & Co Inc. in Katonah.
She loved gardening, puzzles, entertaining and spending time with her family, including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and she was affectionately known as “Grandy” to all.
She is survived by her three children, Wayne Anderson of Pawling, Patrick and Marsha Anderson of Wingdale, and Amy and Keith Dakin of Pawling; grandchildren Kyle and Christina Dakin of Holmes, Aubrey and Ben Meyer of Pawling, and Eric Anderson of Virginia, Jessica Anderson of Wingdale and Shannon Anderson of Pawling, great-grandchildren Cole & Shane Dakin of Holmes and Asher Meyer of Pawling & Madison & Kinsley of Wingdale NY.
Graveside services to be held in Spring.
Donations in Memory of Maryanne may be made to the Pawling Fire Department.
