Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley Grant

Dutchess County — Rebuilding Together Dutchess County was awarded a $2,500 grant towards vital operational support through a Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley Community Grant.

The Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley strengthens our community by helping individuals, businesses and organizations such as Rebuilding Together Dutchess County support vital needs in our community.

“We are honored to receive this generous operational support grant, made possible by the Community Grants Fund of Dutchess County of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley. They are providing us the much-needed support to continue to do the great work for our collective neighbors in need of the services we offer,” said Darcy McCourt, Executive Director at Rebuilding Together Dutchess County. “A generous $2,500 grant from the Foundation allows us to make all we do happen behind the scenes,” she exclaimed.

The nonprofit was honored to accept the award at the Dutchess County Donor Reception on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, along with other Dutchess County grantees. Representing Rebuilding Together Dutchess County was Outreach Coordinator Joseph Rivera-Ramos. He also expresses his thanks to the Foundation: “We are grateful for all your support and the amazing partnerships we have made over the years to get us here. Let us all continue to make a difference in all our neighbors’ lives.”

Rebuilding Together Dutchess County is entering their 31st year of serving the greater community and is committed to ensuring our neighbors are safe, warm and healthy. Their programs provide qualifying, low-income Dutchess County homeowners with critical home repairs at no cost to them.
