Dover Plains – Eola B. O’Hanlon, 84, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at her home in Dover Plains, NY. Mrs. O’Hanlon was a supervisor at Wassaic Developmental Center retiring in 1992.

Born on September 12, 1930 in Dannemora, NY she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Fern (Brusseau) Baker. Mrs. O’Hanlon was a graduate of Ellenburgh Central Schools class of 1948. She proudly served in the US Air Force as a 2nd Class Airman during the Korean Conflict. On June 30, 1955 in New York City she married Patrick O’Hanlon who predeceased her on August 1, 2003.

Mrs. O’Hanlon is survived by a son, Daniel O’Hanlon and his wife, Susan, of Red Hook, NY; a daughter, Kimie Cunningham and her husband, Gary, of Sharon, CT and four sisters, Alice Halley of Malone, NY, Irene Jarvis of Chateaugay, NY, Jean Gordon-Smith of Maryville, IL and Leona McRoberts of Tuscon, AZ. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Michael Kalb and his wife, Eileen and Patrick Kalb and two great-grandchildren, Julianna and David Kalb. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. O’Hanlon was predeceased by six brothers, Robert, Lloyd, Richard, James, Leo and Archie Baker and two sisters, Shirley Perry and Blanche Doyle.
