NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION WASSAIC FIRE DISTRICT TOWN OF AMENIA
DECEMBER 13, 2022 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Wassaic
Fire District will take place on December 13, 2022 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and
9:00 p.m. at the Wassaic Fire District Fire Station, 27 Firehouse Road, Wassaic, Town of
Amenia, New York, for the purpose of: 1.Electing one Commissioner for a 5-year term
commencing on January 1st, 2023 and ending on December 31st, 2027; and 2. For the
purpose adopting or rejecting the resolution adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners
as follows: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A BOND OR BONDS IN
AN AMOUNT NOT MORE THAN $990,000.00 OF THE WASSAIC FIRE DISTRICT,
TOWN OF AMENIA, DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK, TO FINANCE THE COST OF
THE PURCHASE OF A 2023 CLASS A FIRE PUMPER, AT A MAXIMUM ESTIMATED
COST OF $990,000.00. All residents of the Fire District duly registered with the Dutchess
County Board of Elections as of November 22, 2022 shall be eligible to vote. WASSAIC
