Dutchess County Drug Task Force apprehends narcotics dealer near
Dutchess Community College


The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports the arrest of Charles Faircloth D.O.B. 08/19/45, a Town of Poughkeepsie
resident, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree with intent to sell, a class B Felony, on
11/03/22. Task Force Agents executed a search warrant at Mr. Faircloth’s residence located within the Pendell
Commons apartment complex in the Town of Poughkeepsie. This apartment complex is in close proximity to Dutchess
Community College. Task Force Agents seized narcotics and U.S. currency as a result of this investigation. Mr. Faircloth
was ordered to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Justice Court on 11/07/22 for arraignment.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Bureau. As with any
criminal case the charge described above is merely an accusation and Mr. Faircloth is presumed innocent until proven
guilty in a court of law.
