Obituary, Arleen M. Nicoletti

Arleen M. Nicoletti, 95, passed away peacefully at her home in Millbrook, NY on October 19, 2022. Arleen was born in Ridgewood, NJ to Percy J. and Mildred B. Ackerman, and graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1945. She married Joseph R. Nicoletti, Jr. in May of 1976.

 

Arleen and her husband Joe traveled throughout the country in their motor home with the Good Sam Club, of which Arleen served as the New York State Secretary and Publicity Chairwoman.

 

Arleen won many awards for her cross-stitch, crochet, embroidery, rug-hooking, and baking crafts. She was a member and treasure of the Rug Hookers Guild in Pleasant Valley, NY. Arleen also volunteered with Joe at the Duchess County Fair for many years, including as a judge in the embroidery and hobbies and crafts department.

 

She is predeceased by her husband Joseph R. Nicoletti, Jr. she is survived by her children Edward Burtis, Lawrence Burtis, Colette Tabor, and Jean-Marie Cooper.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM, at 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook, NY 12545. Funeral services will take place during the evening hours. Interment will be on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 12PM, from Valleau Cemetery, 546 Franklin Turnpike, Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
