Clyde Schwartz, 95, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Putnam Ridge, Brewster, NY.Born in Miami, FL on June 19, 1927, he was the son of Edward and Anne (Weinberger) Schwartz and husband of the late Sharon Doyle who passed away in 2018.Clyde served in the US Marine Corps during World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific Area, participating in the occupation of China.He was a long-time math teacher at the Westlake High School in Thornwood, NY.He had enjoyed playing tennis at Holiday Hills in Pawling and playing softball in Wingdale. More recently he was part of the Mt. Ebo Temple.He is survived by his two sons, David in New York and Mark in Ohio and two daughters, Susan in Ohio and Kimberly in Pawling; four grandchildren, Lucas, Thomas, Kelsey, and Timothy; and his brother-in-law William his wife, Elizabeth Doyle and their three children Rebecca, Katherine, and William IV.There are no services at this time.Arrangements are under the direction of the Horn & Thomes, Inc Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.
