to Big Band Concert

Saturday, October 1st at Red Hook Central School Auditorium

Poughkeepsie … Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro and the County Division of Veterans’ Services is showing the county’s appreciation to local veterans with complimentary tickets to the Red Hook VFW 7765’s Big Band Concert, the Gene Krupa Story on Saturday, Oct. 1st at 4 p.m. The live musical event, honoring veterans, will take place at the Red Hook Central School Auditorium, 103 West Market Street, Red Hook. Complimentary tickets are limited to two per veteran (one for themselves, one for a guest) and must be reserved at dutchessny.gov/concert, and will be given to veterans who complete the online registration, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

flyerCounty Executive Molinaro said, “Dutchess County is dedicated to showing our veterans the appreciation they very much deserve. Those who attend this concert will get the opportunity to honor some of our bravest generations of veterans while enjoying an afternoon of live entertainment. I hope this event brings joy to the faces of veterans who have done so much to protect our freedoms.”

Veterans’ Services Director Adam Roche said, “We are grateful to the Red Hook VFW 7765 for putting on this concert for our local heroes. I know from working with these veterans, that these events mean a lot to them, and they feel the love. We will continue to participate in events that honor our local men and women as we can never thank them enough for all they have done for our nation with their service.”

The concert will give attendees the chance to share experiences and comradery among fellow veterans. The complimentary tickets are just Dutchess County’s latest example of appreciation for local veterans. Dutchess County hosted hundreds of heroes at its Aug. 6th Red, White, and You! Veterans Appreciation Picnic at Camp Nooteeming in Pleasant Valley, offering veterans a day of food, live music, and socialization.
