Obituary, Erin T. Clancy

Erin T. Clancy, 50, of Stanfordville, passed away suddenly on September 7, 2022, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Poughkeepsie on October 17, 1971, to Nancy Willis. He graduated from Stissing Mountain Jr/Sr. High School, where he met the love of his life Erin De Lor. Erin served our country in the United States Navy from 1990 to 1994, he was a Corpsman and was stationed in Yuma, Arizona, before moving back to Stanfordville to start a family. He was the youngest EMT in New York State and also served as a Chaplain for the Veterans. He was committed to helping people, including those in need and especially our local Veterans. Clancy was a loving family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife and children. Erin was a collector of numerous things including various Nascar memorabilia. He was an avid NASCAR fan with Michael McDowell #34 being his favorite driver. Erin is survived by his devoted wife, Erin Marie Clancy, his three loving children, Crystal (Eric) King, Melissa and Meghan Clancy. His brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Aleksandra Clancy, his mother Nancy Willis and grandmother Marjorie Willis. Also, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Corina Gilmore, nephew, Michael, nieces, Molly and Analese. In addition to Gary Finkle, Dan and Donna De Lor. Erin was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Anna Finkle. No formal services will be held at this time.
