Diane H. Hall, 73, a longtime resident of Lakeville, CT, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon, CT.
Born on January 14, 1949 in Sharon, CT, she was the daughter of the late James and Winifred (Somers) Ferris.
Mrs. Hall is survived two daughters, Margaret Dangol of Seattle, WA and Heidi Silvernail of Torrington, CT and four sons, George Silvernail of Lakeville, CT, Todd Silvernail of Winstead, CT, Thomas Hall of Torrington, CT and Harold Hall of Ancram, NY. She is also survived by three sisters, Ida McEathron and Lorraine Phillips both of Millerton, NY and Muriel McEathron of Forest City, PA; two brothers, Irving Ferris of Millbrook, NY and Daniel Ferris of Bennington, VT; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hall is also survvied by several nieces and nephews and her former husband, Douglas Hall of Lakeville, CT.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Birdsall and Catherine Wendover; three brothers: James, Leonard and Stanley Ferris and a granddaughter, Deanna Silvernail.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Dover Plains.
