Obituary, William Clarence “Bill” Boula

William Clarence “Bill” Boula, a 55-year resident of Pawling, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at Sharon Hospital, Sharon, CT.
Born in Lake Placid, NY on November 20, 1936, he was the son of the late Henry Joseph Boula and Elizabeth Charland.  He married Frances LaGrotta in NYC and have been married almost 66 years, and together they raised four children while running their fencing installation business, Pawling Fence; Fran survives at home.
Bill loved all things outdoors; hunting, fishing, gardening, and animals of all kinds.  He also loved cooking for his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Fran, he is survived by two sons, Frank Boula and wife Kristin Frisina of Pawling and William Boula, Jr and wife Celeste Rose of Poughquag; his daughter Debra Ciccone and husband Rocco of Brewster; eight grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son, Anthony, and his five siblings.  Also his two favorite horses, Tika and Buck, and his faithful canine Gabby.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Horn & Thomes, Inc Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling Wednesday, June 29th 5-8 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday at 11 AM.  Burial will follow in Quaker Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bill’s memory to Dutchess County SPCA, 600 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538.  Please include Bill’s name on the memo line.
