Home Repair Services for Dutchess County Residents

Applications accepted now through August 31, 2022

Rebuilding Together Dutchess County (RTDC) is accepting applications for their Rebuilding Day home repair and accessibility modification program. These services are provided at no-cost to qualified homeowners and focus on ensuring that individuals can live independently in safe, warm, dry and healthy homes.

The deadline for applications to be considered for the 2023 Rebuilding Day program is August 31, 2022. Income-qualified Dutchess County homeowners, especially seniors, persons living with a disability, military veterans or parents with school aged children are encouraged to apply.

The Rebuilding Day program takes a whole-house approach. Typical repairs can include replacing a roof or windows, addressing electrical or plumbing issues, fixing a porch, installing a ramp, bathroom accessibility modifications, and much more. By performing these types of repairs, RTDC helps homeowners stay in their homes for as long as they wish.

Neighbors who have been served by the local nonprofit all suggest that their fellow Dutchess County residents apply. Alice commented that it was “a wonderful experience” working with RTDC and felt the volunteers who performed the repairs on her home were friendly and warm. Candida said “I would recommend it highly because you took care of all my needs.”

To request an application or ask questions, call the RTDC office at 845-454-7310. The application and further details can also be found at www.RTDutchess.org.
