Obituary, Robert A. Pina

On Saturday, June 18th, 2022 Robert A. Pina, loving husband and father of two, passed away suddenly at his Pawling home.  Born in Bronx, NY, he was 60 years old.  Robert, or Bob as he was commonly known, touched many with his easy demeanor and good humor.  He devoted himself to his family and work and enjoyed friendships that spanned over many years.  He was a lover of all outdoor endeavors and sport, especially kayaking and all boats in general.  He enjoyed music, especially the Who, and most recently riding his Harley.  Bob was a well-known and respected Sales Executive throughout the Hudson Valley, and a long-time Caddy in Westchester, a job he enjoyed with strong camaraderie for a sport he loved.  He had hopes of pulling back and moving to the mountains of NH.  Sadly, that won’t come to pass.  He leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Anne Cromwell Pina, and his sons, Jonathan and Andrew.  Andrew is an Infantryman in the US Army, something Bob was very proud of.  He is predeceased by his brothers Michael and Gerald Pina and survived by his Parents Wallace and Synnove Pina of Nokomis, FL; his sister Sue and husband Bill Barczak, of Niskayuna, NY; and sister Amanda and husband Michael Kulaw of Bradenton, FL; and several nieces and nephews.  The family is heartbroken, and he will be forever missed.  A memorial will be held in his honor on Monday, June 27th from 4-7 at Horn & Thomes Funeral Home at 83 East Main Street in Pawling, NY.
