Julia A. Angel, known as Julie to her family and friends, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel; she was 71.
A 38-year resident of Pawling, long-time resident of Wingdale, she was born in Mount Vernon, NY on January 24, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Laurance Angel, Jr and Olive Marguerite Crawford.
Julie was owner and operator of Angel’s Mobil Home Park in Wingdale. She loved cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, and all kinds of cats.
She is survived by her sister Marguerite “Margie” Foster of Warner Robins, GA; her brother Chuck Andrews of Albany, GA; her fiancé Garry Mayes, Jr of Wingdale; her long-time companion and best friend, Ellie Ritter of Pawling; several nieces and nephews; and her feline companion, Trixie.
In addition to her parents, Julie is predeceased by her brother Larry Angel and nephew, Chris Angel..
Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, June 12th from 2-4 PM at the Horn & Thomes, Inc Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Burial will follow in South Dover Cemetery, Wingdale, NY.
