State Police are seeking the public’s help regarding a hit and run serious injury crash that occurred on I-87 in Westchester County.

Greenburgh, NY – The New York State Police out of SP Tarrytown are asking for the public’s assistance concerning a serious injury crash where a passenger car struck a motorcycle on I-87 and then fled the scene.

On Saturday, June 4, 2022, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Troopers assigned to SP Tarrytown responded to the crash which occurred on I-87 southbound in the town of Greenburgh.  The operator of the motorcycle was stopped on the right shoulder of the exit 7A off-ramp when a dark colored sedan stuck the motorcycle, causing the operator to be ejected and land in the roadway.  The sedan fled the scene.  Two drivers passing by stopped to pull the motorcyclist to safety and rendered first aid.  The operator was transported to the hospital where he is being treated for serious leg injuries.
