Poughkeepsie … Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro announced the Dutchess County Division of Veterans Services is sponsoring a Veterans Appreciation Movie Day on Sunday, June 12th at 10 a.m. at the Roosevelt Cinemas, 4060 Albany Post Road (Route 9) in Hyde Park. Veterans and active-duty military individuals, along with one guest, are invited to attend this free event.
County Executive Molinaro said, “We are grateful to our veterans for all they have done to serve their country and this Veterans Appreciation Movie Day is another small way for us to show that gratitude. We are proud to offer veterans and their guest a morning of relaxing, movie fun.”
The recently released film, “Top Gun: Maverick” will be screened for free for veterans and one guest. Online reservations are required.
Veterans Services Director Adam Roche said, “We are grateful to Roosevelt Cinemas for their support of our Veterans Appreciation Movie Day. Our veterans have given so much to their community and nation, and it is our honor to offer this free event for them to enjoy with a loved one or friend.”
