Investment holding company man caught stealing customer’s money

LaGrange, New York – March 29, 2022, the New York State Police in Rhinebeck in collaboration with the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office arrested Todd Sims, age 49, of LaGrange, for Grand Larceny in the 2nd degree, a class C felony and two counts of Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, a class D felony.

Investigation determined Sims stole over $165,000 using an investment company business under the name of Horizon Holdings NY LLC.

Sims was arraigned in the town of LaGrange Court and released on his recognizance, scheduled to reappear in the town of Lagrange Court on May 3, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
Additionally, Sims was previously arrested in October of 2021 by the State Police for Grand Larceny in the 2nd degree relative to a similar investigation.
