SHERMAN BURGLARY IN PROGRESS ARREST

On 03/06/2022 at approximately 0517pm, members of the Connecticut State Police Troop A and the New Fairfield Resident Troopers responded to the area of the Sherman IGA, for the report of a male creating a public disturbance. Upon Trooper’s arrival, it was determined there was an active burglary in progress at 2 Route 39 (Giddings Garage). As a result of this investigation, Daniel J. Finley (DOB 12/13/1994) was placed under arrest for violation of Connecticut General Statutes §53a-123: Larceny 2nd Degree, §53a-103: Burglary 3rd Degree, §53a-108: Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree, §53a-117: Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, §53a-125b: Larceny 6th Degree. Finley was issued a $25,000 Cash/Surety bond set by SGT McDaniel #267. Finley was transported to Bridgeport Correctional Center and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on 03/07/2022.
