Dover Plains – Jeanne B. Fayden, 93, a five-year local resident, formerly of Allendale and Bayville, NJ, died on Friday, February 25, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Dover Plains. Mrs. Fayden worked as a secretary at Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, NJ retiring in 1991.
Born on April 9, 1928 in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Ward) Suchy. On February 15, 1958, in the Bronx, NY, she married Joseph Fayden who died on October 15, 1986.
Mrs. Fayden is survived by a son, Joe Fayden of Bridgeville, NY, and two daughters, Mary Fayden of Mount Arlington, NJ and Ginny Mirande and her husband, Tony, of Dover Plains, NY. She is also survived by a grandson, Jonathan Fayden, and his wife, Victoria.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 62 Mill St., Dover Plains, NY.
