By Susan Stone

Olga Brandenberger has been a Pawling resident since 2007, having relocated from the Bronx with her husband, Frederick, and their two now-adult children. She is currently proud mom to Snoopy, the dog. She is an ordained minister with Elim Fellowship and has worked in full-time ministry for close to two decades and in the social service sector for many years.

Most recently, Ms. Brandenberger served as a senior case manager for Catholic Charities Community Service in Brewster, where she provided trauma-informed crisis intervention, safety planning, and advocacy to individuals and families who are victims/survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.

Olga was a dedicated children’s pastor for many years at both the Mission Church in Holmes, and

Church of the Revelation in Bronx, New York, an inner-city congregation of 1600+ members with an average attendance of 275-300 children. Her service and experience in both capacities provided expertise in program development, volunteer oversight, communication, and community outreach.

Ms. Brandenberger holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community and Human Services from Empire State College, State University of New York, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University at Buffalo.

Her expertise, warmth, and compassion coupled with honed leadership, communication, and team-building skills make Olga the ideal professional to lead this beloved community institution. She is passionate about serving the community while sharing her knowledge to empower and equip those struggling with food insecurity and other pressing needs. She shared, “I’m humbled, excited, and honored to be in the role of Executive Director of the Pawling Resource Center, and I look forward to partnering with many of the organizations, volunteers, individuals, and families that are integral in making it possible to accomplish the mission of the PRC.”

The Board of Directors of the Pawling Resource Center is proud to welcome Olga to the PRC family.

Information about services and volunteer opportunities at the Center may be found on the PRC website at pawlingresourcecenter.org. Questions about accessing services or becoming involved in a volunteer capacity may be directed to Olga at 845-855-3459.
