Obituary, Margaret “Peggy Ann” Yeno Syx, 81

Margaret “Peggy Ann” Yeno Syx, 81

Went peacefully into the Lord’s loving arms, October 26, 2021, at her home in Willis, VA surrounded by her family. Peggy was born July 7, 1940, in Poughkeepsie, NY, and was a long-time resident of Dover Plains, NY. She graduated from Dover Jr Sr High School in 1959 and went on to work for the State of New York as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist until her retirement. Mom loved gardening and working with flowers. Yellow roses could always be found on display in her gardens each year. She enjoyed baking and all her children and grandchildren have fond memories in the kitchen with her throughout the years. Let’s not forget Sunday dinners!  She also loved the beach and visited many times in her life. And she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren fiercely.

Margaret leaves behind her loving husband, William Syx, of 44 years along with her daughters, Lisa Greiner Maughan and her husband Antony of London, England, Amy Greiner Zimlinghaus and her husband Josh of Midland TX, Maria Syx Spencer and her husband Loren of Dover Plains, NY and three sons, Mark Greiner and wife Amy from Newport NC, Butch Syx and his wife June of Willis, VA and Bill Syx and wife Dixi of Sanford, NC. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren John, Amber, Caitlin, Justin, Megan, Christine, Michelle, Elise, Amy, Ethan, Jacob, Rachel, Ava, Ricky, Chelsea, David, Adam, Tyler, Caleb, Austin, Alyssa and Mikayla, and great-grandchildren, Nolan, Louise, Lucas, Owen, Kellan, Addyson, August, Aubrielle, Rowan, Jackson, Gracie, Logan, John, Tristan, Chloe, Aleigha, Jasmine, Aubree, Breyahan, Bella, Taylor, Bently, Kenny and Blaine.
