Local Foundation Announces 2022 Grant Schedule; Awarded $1 million in Grants in 2021
Improving the Lives of Older Adults and Their Caregivers
In Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester Counties
CORTLANDT MANOR, NY, DECEMBER 17, 2021 – Field Hall Foundation has announced its 2022 grant giving schedule. Grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000+ will be awarded to pilot, expand or support programs and projects that directly impact the lives of OLDER ADULTS and their CAREGIVERS in Dutchess, Putnam & Westchester counties. The Foundation awarded more than $1 million in grants in 2021.
There will be three grant cycles in 2022:
Spring 2022 Cycle
Deadline for Submitting Letters of Inquiry (LOIs): January 14th
Grants Awarded: End of May
Fall 2022 Cycle
Deadline for Submitting LOIs: June 3rd
Grants Awarded: End of September
Winter 2022-23 Cycle
Deadline for Submitting LOIs: October 3rd
Grants Awarded: End of January 2023
Priority is given to proposals that address:
- Food insecurity
- Home-based care services
- Respite and support services for spouses/relatives caring for older adults at home
- Safety, security, and elder abuse
- Social work/Case management
- Transportation for older adults, caregivers, or home health aides
