Rotary Dictionaries Delivered to Mizzentop Third Graders

Dictionary Day arrived at Mizzentop Day School on December 14th, and happiness among the third grade class of students was palpable. Even with protective masks, little smiling eyes were evident everywhere.  The Rotary Dictionary project is organized by long time Rotarian, and former past president, Dick Harshbarger.  Rotarians Jeff Asher, John Ammaturo, and Brian Avery were also on hand to present the dictionaries to eager students.
Susan Parisi, third grade teacher at Mizzentop, wrote in a message to Rotary members, “Thank you all so much for such a wonderful presentation. The students couldn’t stop talking about how happy they were to meet you all and to receive the dictionaries. I know that they will put them to good use. Thank you for your generosity and your time.”
Dictionary Day, at both Mizzentop Day School and Pawling Elementary School, is one of the treasured projects of Pawling Rotary.
