Born on October 24, 2000 in Carmel, NY, he was the son of Steven R. King, Jr. and Stephanie (Tompkins) King of Wingdale. Steven received a Regents diploma from Dover High School class of 2018 and also attended the BOCES Small Engine Technology Program.
Steven loved hanging out with his friends, riding ATVs and dirt bikes and enjoyed a good bonfire with friends and family. Loved by all he met, he will be sorely missed, a light went out with him.
In addition to his loving parents, Steven is survived by a brother, Justin King of Wingdale; maternal grandmother, Susan Tompkins of Wingdale and paternal grandparents, Steven R. King, Sr. and Sharon King of Wingdale. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in the area. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Skip Tompkins.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
