PRESS RELEASE

Red Hook, New York – On October 29, 2021, the New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks in conjunction with the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center and Child Protective Services arrested Paul A. Butler, age 33, of Red Hook, for Forcible Touching, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both class A misdemeanors.

After receiving a law enforcement tip, Investigators determined Paul Butler forcibly touched the intimate parts of a child under the age of seventeen. The victim was familiar to Butler.

Butler was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Triebwasser of the Red Hook town Court and released on his own recognizance.
