PRC Adopt-a-Family in Need of Adopters!
The Pawling Resource Center sponsors a holiday Adopt-a-Family Program to support members of the Pawling community who need help providing gifts for their family during this Season of Giving.
The Center is looking for sponsors to “Adopt” a family by buying gifts, specifically for a local family which include clothing for the children, as well as one fun gift per child, and a gift card for the family to a local grocery store.
Gift cards may be purchased for teens from Kohls, Marshalls or similar local and easy to access stores, and generic games and toys for young children may be purchased and dropped off at the PRC Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm. Diapers, wipes and baby toys for infants are also needed.
To sponsor a family, log onto the center’s web site at www.pawlingresourcecenter.org and click on the link to the Adopt-a-Family form. You will be contacted with information regarding the specific needs of your adopted family.
The final day for signing up to Adopt-a-Family is Friday December 3, 2021, All gifts must be delivered together, because “stragglers” may not make it to the intended family.
IMPORTANT! All gifts this year should be delivered to the Recreation Dept. at Lakeside Park on one of the following dates: Mon. Dec. 13 and Tues. Dec 14, between 10 and 4.
