Mark Kievit from Stormville received a promotion to the rank of sergeant 1st class in the New York Army National Guard

 

LATHAM, NY (10/28/2021)– Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

Mark Kievit from Stormville (12582), N.Y., and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 104th Military Police Battalion received a promotion to the rank of sergeant 1st class on September 22, 2021.

Jesse Simonetty from Poughquag (12570), N.Y., and assigned to the Company A, 101st Expeditionary Signal Battalion received a promotion to the rank of private 1st class on August 26, 2021.

Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.
