Reps. Delgado and Maloney Secure FEMA Individual Assistance for Dutchess County
WASHINGTON – After repeated requests from U.S. Representatives Antonio Delgado (NY-19) and Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18), today, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) extended Individual Assistance to Dutchess County residents. This announcement follows successful requests for an Emergency Declaration and Public Assistance.
“Since the moment Hurricane Ida struck our communities, I have been fighting to secure assistance and support for upstate residents,” said Rep. Delgado. “I am proud to help deliver both Individual Assistance and Public Assistance to folks in Dutchess County. I encourage residents to apply for FEMA assistance and contact my office with any questions.”
“Securing all the federal assistance available to make a full recovery in the wake of Hurricane Ida has been a top priority for me in Washington. Delivering FEMA Individual Assistance to Dutchess County is a key step in the right direction,” said Rep. Maloney. “I have been working closely with local officials, communicating with the White House and Governor’s Office to get our towns, villages, and counties robust federal funding, but we’re not done yet. I will continue to fight to ensure the rest of my constituents in the Hudson Valley get the help they need.”

- Constituents may call the application phone number at 1-800-621-3362. If using video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service or others, please give FEMA the number for that service.
- Visit a Disaster Recovery Center.
