Obituary, Angela Marie Nash

Angela Marie Nash, 57, passed away quietly at her home in Pawling, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

A life-time resident of Pawling, she was born in Flushing, Queens on  June 8, 1964 to Patrick and Frances (Ventrice) Feery. She attended and graduated from Pawling schools and went on to receive an Associates Degree in General Insurance, working as a commercial insurance manager for Emery & Webb in Fishkill.

On April 19, 1986 in St. John’s Church, Pawling Angela married Steven Nash who survives at home.

Angela was a member and communicant of St. John’s Church in Pawling and volunteered at Sparrow’s Nest in Wappingers Falls.  She loved being a grandma, a mom, and a wife and took pride in her house and family; she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and cooking for her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Steve, Angela is survived by her mother Frances Feery of Pawling; three sons, Jonathan and wife, Sarah, of Hopewell Junction, Andrew of Virginia Beach, VA, and Kevin and wife, Anna Cate, of Pawling; daughter Cara Kenyon and husband, Michael, of Holmes; brother Joseph Feery of Pawling; three sisters, Patricia Feery of White Plains and Catherine Feery and Frances Davis, both of Pawling; granddaughter Danielle Nash of Hopewell Junction; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is predeceased by her father Patrick “Pete” Feery who passed away June 4, 2017 and her brother Patrick, who passed away May 14, 2000.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, October 17th from 4-7 PM at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.  A funeral service will conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 10 AM.  Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Pawling.
