With sad and heavy hearts, the family of Shelley Rose Parsons, age 70, of Hillsdale, NY announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY surrounded by her loving family. Loved by many, she was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Shelley participated in several organizations and will be greatly missed by all.
Her family was blessed to have her in their lives and know although she fought to the end, her suffering is over.
Shelley is survived by her husband, Gary Swart Sr., of Hillsdale, NY, two sons, Gary Swart Jr and his wife, Renee, of Dover Plains, NY and Sheldon Swart and his companion, Denise, of Salisbury, CT; a daughter, LeaAnn and her companion, Ray, of Hillsdale, NY and four grandchildren, Brianna and Kyle Swart of Dover Plains NY; Taylor Swart of Salisbury, CT; and ReneeLynn Savoy of Hillsdale, NY.
She was predeceased by her loving parents Norton and Leatrice Parsons.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
