he PRC Has a Brand-New Web Site!

The Pawling Resource Center has recently unveiled its new web site and it is bright, bold and easy to use! With the wide scope of services available through the PRC for neighbors in need, Terry Ariano, Executive Director, feels that a web site that is able to adequately inform and easily access is crucial to the Center’s ability to assist where and when needed.

“Our new website has a great look and reflects the many interactions we have in the Pawling community. It has been a long time coming, and we are so happy to have this resource available for all who need services, for those who wish to participate in our events, and for donors who wish to support and give back.”

Also available right on the home page is information about upcoming events. Next month’s Walkathon is featured, and all Walkathon information is now available with a simple ‘right click!’ The Community can access all the necessary forms to start a team or walk individually, without having to pick this info up at the Center. The community can expect to find pertinent information about all upcoming and current events on the home page going forward.

The web site is beautifully organized with several drop-down menus that outline the myriad services and ways in which they can be accessed. Users can easily determine eligibility for services and volunteers can now find lots of ways to donate time and expertise to this community not-for-profit.

Ample use of pictures engages interest, and important information for donors (including ways to easily donate on-line) are abundant. It is now a site which promotes activity and contact. It offers a look at the inner workings of the organization and all that goes into making it a successful operation; one in which service, caring, and compassion are highlighted and disseminated daily.

This new web site was designed by Pawling’s own Lonna Kelly. Lonna’s business, Lonna Kelly Studio LLC is a NYS certified Woman Business Enterprise (WBE). An experienced writer, grant writer, editor, photographer, content provider and website designer. Lonna provides services for non-profits, small businesses, groups, independent artists and creatives. Her expertise includes editing ZOOM webinar recordings, grant writing, solicitation letters, event and site photography, social media marketing, enewsletters, live posting of events, and website design.

Lonna happily expressed, “I was delighted to have the opportunity to redesign the Pawling Resource Center’s website. The PRC provides essential services and is, I feel, the heart of Pawling.”
