The State Police and the Village of Monticello Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred on August 9, 2021 at approximately 2:10 a.m. at the intersection of Liberty St and Cottage St in the area of John Crawford Senior Housing.  Multiple shots were fired and at least one person was injured.  The incident remains under investigation.  Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the New York State Police at 845-344-5300.
