Obituary Howard O. “Whitey” Judson, Jr.

Howard O. “Whitey” Judson, Jr., 81, of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021, at his home in Dover Plains. Whitey worked in the Grounds Department at the Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center in Wingdale, NY.

Born on May 31, 1940 in Sharon, CT he was the son of the late Howard Judson, Sr. and Elizabeth (Doty) Judson.

Whitey enjoyed hunting, listening to country music, coaching little league baseball and riding his Harley with Christie. He often told stories of his family trips especially motorcycle trips with Christie. Whitey was the Captain of the Wingdale Snow Birds. He loved to cut wood using his Kytoi tractor and the pond was his favorite place to go and read his mail.

Whitey is survived by his longtime companion Christie Judson and four sons, Howard Judson, III and his companion Donna; Charles Judson and his wife, Maria; Larry Judson and his wife, Maryann and Paul Judson. He is also survived by three step-children, Mairchen and Reinhardt Ohlholf and Kristen Arndt; a sister, Pam Rennia and her husband, Carl; a nephew, Colin Rennia; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
