Ann Cecelia Peterson, 61, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Danbury Hospital, Danbury, CT.
“Cece” to her family and friends, she was born in Rye, NY on December 24, 1959 to the late George Albert Meisner and Myra Goldthwaite. Cece attended and graduated from Rye High School. In 1980, she married Harry J. Peterson, Jr. in the Rye Presbyterian Church. Cece was a resident of Poughquag, NY for the last two years and before she retired had she worked as a Teacher’s Aide at the Westorchard Elementary School in Chappaqua, NY.
She is survived by her husband, Harry, of Poughquag; her daughter, Kimberly Peterson Aquilino and husband, Lukas, of Wingdale, NY; her son Kevin Peterson and wife, Nicole, of Red Oaks Mill, NY; her six grandchildren, Ava, Darren, and Missy Aquilino and Giada, Vincent, and Mark Peterson; and her brother, Thomas Meisner and wife, Nancy, of Aiken, SC.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cece may be made to the Hilton Head Humane Association, 10 Humane Way, Hilton Head, SC 29926.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will follow at a future date.
