Obituary
Born on February 28, 1940 in Sharon, CT, he was the son of the late Lacey L. and Mary E. (Metcalf) Finley. Mr. Finley was a former member of the Chestnut Ridge Rod and Gun Club and a former Elder of Clove Valley Church.
Mr. Finley is survived by two sons, Brian Finley and his wife, Cindy, of Chatham, NY and Alan Finley and his wife, Heather, of Clinton Corners, NY and three daughters, Beth Ferris and her husband, Randy, of Wingdale, NY, Shirley Hewlett and her husband, Donald, of Mifflinburg, PA, and Becky Higgs and her husband, Kevin, of Millbrook, NY. He is also survived by four sisters, Vivian Lee of Trinity, NC, Kathy Pesti of Las Vegas, NV, Stacey Swindells of Mocksville, NC, and Stephanie Mannino of Trinity, NC; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Crossroads Church, 1807 Clove Road, Lagrangeville, NY. Burial at Valley View Cemetery in Dover Plains will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Care Center, 965 Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
